What this site handles when you visit: delivery logs at Cloudflare, a theme preference in your browser, and any email you choose to send for a correction.

Data handled
This site has no accounts, comments, newsletter or payments, and it shows no ads. Google Analytics is disabled. The theme control stores a light or dark preference in your browser's local storage. If you email contact@futureofcstheory.com, Cloudflare Email Routing forwards the message to the editor's inbox. Your address and message are used only to read and act on your correction. If a correction changes the site, your name appears only if you ask for it to.
Hosting and technical logs
The site is a set of static files delivered by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes request information such as IP address, requested URL, browser details and time. It may handle this in data centers outside your country. The operator has not enabled log exports or Cloudflare Web Analytics, and can see only aggregated traffic counts in the Cloudflare dashboard. Cloudflare describes its own processing in its privacy policy.
The site sets no cookies itself. Cloudflare's security features may set strictly necessary cookies to distinguish people from automated traffic.
